First Earlies: 

Plant first early potatoes between the end of February and late May. They'll be ready for harvest in around ten weeks from planting.

Second Earlies: 

Plant second early potatoes from March to late May, and small, new potatoes will be ready to harvest in around 13 weeks.

Maincrop: 

Grow maincrop potatoes in the ground for best results, as they'll have more space. Maincrop varieties tend to produce larger spuds for baking and roasting.
